Ethan Brown

hails from a dancing family.  His parents, Isabel and Kelly Brown, and sisters Leslie Browne and Elizabeth Laing, were all members of ABT.  Ethan trained first with his parents and continued at the School of American Ballet.  He joined the ABT corps in 1981 and remained with the company for 23 years.  During his career with ABT, Mr. Brown received critical acclaim dancing principal roles in a variety of classical, contemporary and modern ballets.  He worked with such legendary choreographers as George Balanchine, Antony Tudor, Jerome Robbins, Agnes deMille, Martha Graham, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Twyla Tharp, Merce Cunningham and Mikhail Baryshnikov.  He currently teaches at The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and at ABT.
