Summer Intensive Auditions set for February 24 and March 30

New Jersey School of Ballet Summer Intensive is designed for students ages 9 through 20 who are seriously considering dance as a career. We have gathered an outstanding faculty composed of professional dancers who have performed with such world renowned companies as American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, the Kirov, the Bolshoi, Moscow Classical Ballet Theatre, the Joffrey Ballet and New Jersey Ballet. Many of the teachers have also appeared on Broadway and television. All have experience teaching at all levels, and their broad experience gives students a unique understanding of the world of dance.

Courses include daily Ballet and Pointe, plus Character, Variations, Partnering (upper Levels only), Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Ballroom and Pilates

The program runs for six weeks from July 7 through August 15, with a special Showcase Performance for an invited audience of family and friends on August 16 at the New Jersey Ballet Studio Theatre.

Summer Intensive Tuition ranges from $900 to $1,800 for six weeks, depending on the number of classes. Hotel accommodations and any weekend excursions are extra.

For residential students, the Westminster — a Four Diamond hotel — is located just one block from the school. The hotel offers 24-hour security and such amenities as Cable TV, Internet hookups in rooms, complimentary continental breakfast, an excellent restaurant, a fitness club and indoor pool. New Jersey School of Ballet is just 45 minutes by bus from New York City. And we will be happy to help students plan weekend excursions for sightseeing and nearby cultural activities.
