 WORKSHOP

The Ballet Workshop is open to all students at the Ballet School from Beginner II level and above, and is designed to develop the student’s sense of dance and performing ability by participation in a theatrical program. All workshop sessions are held on weekends in the spring of the year. Workshop performances are presented in a professional theatre.

NUTCRACKER

Students from Beginner II level and above are eligible to audition for children’s roles in New Jersey Ballet Company’s annual production of the full length ballet Nutcracker. This is performed at various locations throughout the state beginning in early December and continuing through the holiday season (with 2 weeks scheduled at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn). Information about auditions is made available in the fall.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCES

Intensive level II and above students are used in children’s roles in the professional New Jersey Ballet Company’s productions.
