Natasha Girshov

Ms. Girshov trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Leningrad before joining the Kirov Ballet where she rose quickly through the rank to become principal ballerina, dancing leading roles in Cinderella, Romeo & Juliet, Carmen and many others. Tours with the Kirov took her to the Netherlands, Thailand, Romania, Africa, New Zealand and Cuba. She was choreographer and director of the Special School of Classical Dance in Leningrad where she taught all levels of ballet.
