In Memory of Gabrielle Noa-Abbate
A beloved instructor for countless students.
Memorial contributions can be made in honor of Gabby to the Gabrielle Noa-Abbate Scholarship Fund.
The Gabrielle Noa-Abbate Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship’s purpose is to support emerging dancers at New Jersey Ballet who demonstrate dedication, passion and potential, as well as a need for financial assistance.
About the Fund
The Gabrielle Noa-Abbate Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Gabrielle Noa-Abbate, who graced the stage as a principal dancer for New Jersey Ballet Company where she later became a repertory coach. She also inspired countless students at NJ School of Ballet as a beloved instructor.
Mrs. Noa-Abbate was a role model to her students and the professional dancers she coached and danced beside. She was dedicated to the art form and always strived for excellence and expected the same from those around her. The scholarship fund will distribute awards to those who meet the Scholarship Fund’s criteria.

Somerville Update
New Jersey School of Ballet (Somerville) was founded in 1973. For nearly 50 years, the Somerville school was an extension into the community in the Somerset County area to provide training for all ages. The School's lease ended this year and the decision was made to not relocate. The Company and School are in the midst of a transformation and we look forward to enhancing the classes and programming that is offered.
Prospective students living in Warren, Somerset, Middlesex, Hunterdon and Mercer counties or further south: email Toni@njballet.org for information and a special offer for new students from the areas noted above.
NJSB's Updated Operating Protocols
Based on current guidelines from the New Jersey Department of Health and CDC, the protocols outlined by New Jersey School of Ballet are in place for the safety of everyone at New Jersey Ballet. Additional safety measures/restrictions may be implemented if required by health officials or a federal/state mandate.
